2. Intention (brief summary of the intention of the officer
issuing the order; seldom necessary or advisable to look
far ahead; conditional statements are apt to cause doubt
and uncertainty).
3 Method of execution, (dealing with the detailed
orders to the fighting troops; arms (wapensoorten) should be
dealt with in order of importance).
4. Administrative arrangements (supply, transport,
ammunition, medical services etc., limited to what it is
necessary for all recipients of the order to know; detailed
orders separately to those directly concerned).
5. Intercommunication (where reports are to be sent;
what routes the headquarters of subordinate formations are to
follow; liaison duties with flank formations; instructions as to
wireless control).
En nu o n s algemeen schema, vervat in 36(2) V. V.? Verge
lijkt men den inhoud van dat punt met het hierbovenstaande uit het
Eng. V. V. of met het hieronder volgend uit het Fr. V. V. dan
ontloopen die bepalingen elkaar niet veel.
Art. 19 (Fr. V. V. van 1913): Tout ordre d'opérations doit
éclairer le subordonné sur la situation et sur le role de l'unité
dans l'ensemble de l'opération. II contient obligatoirement: Les
renseignements sur l'ennemi (réduits a ce qui intéresse d i r e c-
t e m e n t le destinataire). Intention du chef qui donne l'ordre;
but qu'il poursuit; objectifs a atteindre; mouvements a exécuter
par l'unité a laquelle s'adresse l'ordre; place oü se tiendra le
chef; mouvements des unités voisines.
Gaven we hierboven eenige gevechtsbevelen voor het Baton
volgens Immanuel, hieronder volgen de bevelen zooals in Fr,
Regl. Infie. II aangegeven.
In punt 178 lezen we onder het hoofd. ,,Aanvalsbevelen," het
navolgende (verkort weergegeven).
In den loop van het gevecht moeten de bevelen van den Bat.
Comdt. helder en kort zijn en mogen niet het gebruik maken
