CATALINA CLUB OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA Van de Catalina Club of Western Australia ontvingen wij het volgende schrijven: Subject: National Catalina Reunion Dear Sir, The above Club has won the right to host the 1994 Bi-Annual National Catalina Reunion of all State Clubs and Association in Perth W.A. in September/October, 1994. As our Members are getting older, it was felt that we would make this Reunion an International one, with this in mind we are writing to all Countries that flew Catalina Flying Boats (PBYs') during World War 2, i.e. New Zealand, United Kingdom, Canada, America, Russia, Holland as well as Australia. Therefore we extend a very cordial and warm Invitation to any ex-Catalina Personel, be they Aircrew or Groundstaff, to attend our Reunion in 1994. Accomodation rates are very reasonable and we plan to accomodate all Delegates in the Applecross area, south of Perth on the banks of the Swan River. This arrangement came about because our Members asked to be together. I am enclosing a questionnaire and ask if it would be possible for you to include it as an insert in your next Newsletter or Magazine if you have one. This is to assist inadvanced planning in order to gauge the number of Members attending or planning to attend. Trusting this is in order and I look forward to hearing from you, and also welcoming some of your Members to Perth. Wishing you and your Family the Complements of the Season, I Remain, Yours Faithfully, Eric.B. Carpenter, State Secretary. Geïnteresseerden kunnen een copie van bovenstaande brief en een aanmeldingsformu lier verkrijgen op het redactieadres van de Nieuwsbrief. HGB 27
