Little Charley went abroad
Pocket filled with money;
In his stomach he did load
Lots of milk and honey.
In a short time he came back
With a charming" maiden
But not for friend Bill, alack!
How Bill's heart was laden
For the blooming lassie clung
To friend Charley's arm!
Nor felt Charley quite at ease,
Said: „I meant no harm.
